JOHN1 REDICK; born circa 1715, probably in present-day Northern Ireland; died before the 1800 federal census, when his wife, Rachel, was listed as a widow; married probably in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, RACHEL HOGE; born circa 1732; died probably in 1810 in Washington County, Pennsylvania (her will was written in 1807, recorded 16 April 1810 in Washington County). In 1800, Rachel, presumably a widow, was living by herself next to her son David Redick in Hopewell Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.37

(tentative) Mary Elizabeth Redick; One anonymous report has Mary Redick; born circa 1751 marrying James McCormack. Some workers have a Mary Elizabeth Redick, born circa 1750 in Virginia, marrying William Lyons. Also, there was a Clarinda Redick, born circa 1795 in Pennsylvania, who has been reported to have married William Lyons. John Hoge Redick's will, written 14 April 1830, mentioned William Lyons and William's son John Redick Lyons. Clarinda Redick along with John Hoge Redick and David Redick were listed in "McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania Original Landowners." in History of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, 1889.125 At present, I can not resolve which of John Hoge Redick's wives, if any, was the mother of Mary Elizabeth Redick and Clarinda Redick.
